What are interior and play dolls made of?

The process of creating a doll is very exciting. Before you start sewing, you need to think about the image, combine colors, select materials, without this important step is very difficult to start. Therefore, the idea is first thought out.

In my dolls I prefer to choose natural materials, as for clothes – it is cotton, cottons, calico. If the doll has knitted elements, it is children’s yarn. For the body I use costume fabric with a high percentage of natural threads.

The body padding is synthetic, does not cause allergies, does not attract dust, and does not contribute to the reproduction of dust mites.

The hair is made of artificial tresses. In Game Dolls the hair is glued in strands, thanks to which it can be combed.

The shoes are made of phoamiran, it does not emit toxic substances and is hypoallergenic. Nowadays it is worth choosing materials very carefully, which is what I do, trying to use the highest quality and natural components in sewing my handmade dolls.
